She has incorporated her passion for mental health and her love of art over the years and creates a safe space to allow peoples creativity shine through. Mackenzie has been with Muse since 2016 and works as a cook, assistant and lead artist. She has loved her journey within the company and is excited to continue growing. Hello! I'm Gaby. I'm from Charlottesville, Va. I'm a 23 year old artist and student, pursuing my BA in graphic design. I've been painting since I could hold a brush, and it's still my favorite thing to do. I also like to illustrate and design clothing and tattoos. Once I graduate I want to do a tattoo apprenticeship, illustrate book covers, and start my own small business upcycling thrifted clothing. When I'm not doing art I'm usually hanging out with my husband and two cats, cooking, watching sci-fi, doing yoga, or listening to audio books.

Self-taught in fine arts and painting, she is now pursuing an experimental digital art degree in Kinetic Imaging from Virginia Commonwealth University. Maia's artistic practice ranges from digitally drawn animations to hand-painted collages and installation work; she hopes to one day use her skills to build inner-city community engagement in creative fields and explore art as a medium for activism.
