Parking

Muse Providence is located east of the Providence River on Main Street across from Roger William‘s Park, and next to Mill‘s Tavern in College Hill.
Our venue has a slight curb at the entrance and is not fully wheelchair accessible unless your party is able to lift it.
There is a public parking lot on N Main St across from Mill's Tavern that usually costs between $7-$15. You can also find metered street parking directly in front of and just past our studio on Main Street, with meters active until 6 PM on weekdays and Saturdays.

    Marjorie graduated with her BFA from UMASS Dartmouth. She enjoys making mostly figurative work. She works primarily with paint, and likes to explore with other mixed materials. She believes everyone is an artist in some way and enjoys working with the public to help harness that. In her free time she enjoys adventuring outdoors and spending time with loved ones.

  • Karen L

    Karen is a Textile Designer by trade, but a Painter by heart. She is a graduate of UMASS Dartmouth with a BFA in Textile Design and an Associates of Interior Design from RISD. She currently is an upholstery designer for the RV industry. A Mom of 2 very active volleyball playing teenage daughters and a beach committee volunteer in her town. She enjoys gardening, painting and doing art fairs in the summer months. IG:karenplander

  • Patricia J

    Patricia Jurkowski is an oil painter born in Seymour, Connecticut. She received her BA in Studio Art from Salve Regina University in early 2023. Jurkowski assists and leads sessions as a part of the team at Muse. She is a practicing artist and currently paints out of Providence, Rhode Island.   • Dominick C

    Dominick is an emerging artist and recent graduate from RISD based in Providence, RI. He grew up in the Washington-DC Metro area and transferred from another Muse storefront in Virginia. He exhibits regularly throughout the East Coast in museum + gallery shows and is thrilled to join the Providence Muse team as a teaching instructor.

  • Lyric J

    Lyric is a non-binary painter, sculptor, and illustrator from Gary, Indiana. They graduated with their B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Brown University, where they used the open curriculum to intersect their passion for science with their love for art. They create work about monstering and spectaclizing, using scientific motifs to think about how we as humans examine others. Outside of painting at Muse, they can also be found metalworking to make sculptures and drawing monsters digitally and physically.   • Mot T

    Mot Tuman is an artist currently pursuing their MFA in Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. They enjoy creating fantasy stories about humanity's relationship with biology and the natural world. After finding their passion for teaching while working as Resident Artist for Jerry's Artarama, they decided to join Muse's team and continue to grow as an instructor.

  • Alyssa B

    Alyssa is a graduate from Drexel University with a Bachelor's in Film and Television. During her studies she focused on Production Design and Art Direction, which led her to rediscover her relationship with creating art of her own. Although she once hated painting, she has reworked her connection to it, and has learned how to love it again. In her free time she draws and paints corners of the world that catch her eye, from a candle lit bath tub to a little pink house.

  • June C

    June C. is a recent Painting graduate from RISD and predominantly works in collage, drawing, and sculpture, oftentimes thinking of ways to merge their applications into one. From the temperate suburbs of Maryland, they developed an affinity for the landscape as an image that holds command over our ideas of personhood, origins, and material reality. Now welcoming Providence as a familiar but new home, they've come to Muse with the passion for sharing the simple joy (and character-building stress) of creating with others!

  • Andie W

    Andie is a space loving enthusiast, currently working on her MS Physics at Brown University. She loves using art as a break from the books and connecting more with the beauty in the world around her. Andie has dabbled in different types of media but acrylic painting and ceramics is her passion, making pieces that can bring joy to other humans. Tying physics and art together is a great way to get others more excited about the properties of the universe.

  • Eryn A

    Eryn works full time as a teaching assistant in a special education classroom, and has a Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Sciences. Outside of the classroom, she loves to use art as a way to express herself and have fun. She loves exploring with acrylic paint and other art forms such as polymer clay and watercolor. Eryn also enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time outdoors.

  • Alexis P

    Alexis Pratt (she/they), with the pen name Aziazor, is a 24 year old, Providence-born artist, poet, and major astrology fanatic. They find inspiration from nature and the human experience, and love to take part in communal activities. Alexis focuses mainly on acrylic and multi-media in her personal works, but she also loves to switch it up every now and then. Her dream as an artist is to create works that reflect others’ experiences and innermost feelings.
