Anna has been painting for 13 years with a focus in portraits, figures, and landscapes. Inspired by music, nature, & community, she enjoys capturing the beauty of the people that inspire her in everyday life. Anna recently quit her desk job to pursue her true passion of painting, and wants to inspire others to jump out of their comfort zone to be their authentic selves. She believes that creativity is the window to joy, and anyone can be an artist no matter their skill level. She is unbelievably excited to be a part of the Muse Paintbar team and can't wait to unlock the inner artist in you!

Originally from Long Island NY, Gabriela Suarez is a self taught artist with backgrounds in painting, drawing, digital art, screenprinting and more. In 2016, Gabriela began going by the alias Venus in her hometown's art community. Under Venus, Gabriela creates minimal designs, focused on self love, to put on merchandise like tote bags, stickers, pouches, mugs and more. Her designs are also available on Red Bubble to purchase. As a painter, Gabriela uses oil paints to create commissioned work and personal art pieces involving conceptual self portraits and figures. Now, as a Muse employee, she is sharing her love for art and painting with the West Hartford community. Gabriela brings a playful, funny energy and loves to remind you that painting is a beautiful way to spend time with loved ones, or just with yourself to teach you patience and forgiveness. "Being around creation of any kind is marvelous and thrilling to me." Given a choice, Jen always chooses art. She found creativity an important outlet for most of her life and loves witnessing it in others. Jen home-schools her three children and pursues a life of adventure, reading, travel, and friends. She is fascinated by learning and enjoys broadening her horizons. Being with people and discovering their uniqueness is one of her favorite things to do. Jen has studied art in school at Mitchell College and UConn, but began her career as a Special Education Teacher, before leaving to raise her kids. Although she enjoys music of all kinds, Jen spent eight years as a terrible bass player in a local punk band. She has been to 46 of the 50 states and hopes to complete her tour in her lifetime. Jen likes trees, yoga, cooking, and painting Crappy Portraits. And wine!

Samantha Dziubek graduated from CCSU with a Bachelors of Art and concentration in illustration. During her time at CCSU she created artwork with bold colors and heavy linework. She began painting large murals and fell in love with the process of creating and the correlation of expression with mental health awareness. These pieces further developed the same style she uses today. After CCSU Samantha created a series of peonies that highlights the beauty of the structure of the flower with a concentration on the delicacy of the contour. She relates each flower to life and how beautiful yet fragile it can be. She continues to reflect illustrative styles into paintings that mostly feature inspiration from nature. For Samantha painting has always been therapeutic. She gets lost in the line work, details, and color combinations. Samantha had struggled for years with General Anxiety Disorder. All of Samantha's paintings tell a story of what she has been through and how far she has come. Therefore, Samantha has a deep connection with each painting and understanding of trusting the process. In her new paintings, Samantha has represented her depiction of crucial issues such as advocating for mental health and the stigma that surrounds different disorders and seeking help. Samantha's style continues to develop as it evokes a variety of emotions that are brought out through the process of her work. Samantha Dziubek is a working professional gallery artist, freelance illustrator, commissioned artist, and muralist. She passionately displays her artwork in galleries which allows her to reach out to those who are suffering from mental health issues. Samantha has been accepted into five juried exhibitions and twelve group/solo exhibitions. Her work has been showcased throughout Connecticut, Massachuseutts, California, New York, and New York City. She is currently working on a series that exposes the reality of mental health issues, illustrating a children's book, and painting pet portraits for commission. When she's not consumed by creating, Samantha grounds herself by spending time with her eight year old daughter, going for hikes, binge watching The Office, and indulging in her favorite food... s'mores. There is an artist inside of all of us, it just has to be inspired. Lyssa was taught to sketch at an early age by her grandmother and because of this, began feeling that inspiration. Lyssa is now both teacher and student, and looking to use her artistic skills to inspire others in that same way. Based out of Bristol, CT, Lyssa teaches art classes to both children and adults. Lauren, a lover of all things art, has been creating for as long as she can remember. Learning to Crochet when she was 9 was just the start of many creative outlets. Recently, Lauren just returned to her home State of CT after teaching art full-time in San Francisco for four years, focusing mainly on Acrylic Painting. She excels at instructing exciting, informational classes for all skill levels. Lauren believes art should be a relaxing and enjoyable time to express yourself while spending quality time with friends and family.

Chl?e Green is an expressive and experimental artist who loves to paint, sculpt and write. She has recently graduated from Wheaton College, where she led an artistic community on campus. She set up art events for students and faculty. Some of the activities she led were bleach painting, skateboard deck painting, a student craft fair, and much more! She also has experience in mural painting, and was commissioned by the school to paint murals for other student run organizations. Chl?e's personal pursuit of art mainly involves intuitive painting, where she creates abstract mixed media pieces based on certain sounds and colors she enjoys. She has also experimented with many different forms of art and enjoys pushing her skills through creating sculptures and clay work. She has an upbeat, bubbly personality where her main goal is to push positivity. She wants everyone to feel comfortable and to not be intimidated by the blank canvas, rather to see it as an opportunity for expression and a space to have fun. Liz is an artist from Ellington CT who loves painting, dancing, and finding new ways to express her creativity. She is currently an occupational therapy assistant that loves incorporating all kinds of arts and crafts into her therapy sessions with children and also coaches a local color guard team. Liz is very excited to be working at Muse and can't wait to help others engage in a creative outlet!

Ahnyah Brown is an artist born and raised in Hartford, CT. She graduated from UCONN this May with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Ahnyah is a lover of all things arts and crafts, having experience in various mediums like printmaking, screen printing, oil paints and many more. Drawing ever since she was in elementary school, Ahnyah finds inspiration in the people and places around her. She loves to learn about new perspectives and cultures while using mixed media to express her ideas. Some of her interests and hobbies include watching old school horror films, playing with her cats, and baking yummy treats. Ahnyah is silly, kind, easy going and always ready for an opportunity to have fun and help others.

Grace is a recent graduate from St. Lawrence University, with a Bachelor's in Art and Psychology. She has been creating art all her life, and enjoys sketching, painting, printmaking, jewelry making and ceramics. While she enjoys many different mediums, much of her work leans into the detailed and precise nature, whether that be still life or architecture projects. Her passion is creating works that help hold a time capsule of a period of her life and help reflect on memories to hold close. She wishes to share with others how creative outlets like painting can help others connect and grow, and is very excited to be a part of the Muse team!

McKayla is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator who loves art in every form. McKayla grew up in Virginia and moved to New England after graduating from university with a major in Graphic Design and a double minor in Studio Art and Cinematography. She is passionate about her art and loves helping people find their own love of art.
